Diving Forster's tern... for processing, used pb oil on one layer and fract glow 100 on another and then changed the opacity to get the effect. Adjusted for selective colors, saturation and applied some selective cloning to reduce the effect of fract. Hope you like it...

    Hey Indranil,
I've debated the central placement and feel it works because of the symmetry. Colors are fantastic and the filters really made them shine! I think you nailed the pose too! I hope you got a version w/o the filters as that is one tough shot to capture! Very nicely done overall!

Hi Roman, thanks a lot. Yes, I do have the one without filters. Here it is...

Sweet! I don't think people realize how difficult it is to get it at that exact moment!!! I do like the filtered version better......probably because of the angle of the tern. If you get one 3/4 to the left or right......might be the "Holy Grail" of tern images!.....or coming out!

Hi Indranil, agree that this is a unique image with a high difficulty factor. I like how Frac Glow affected the image and it's compositional symetry. Very Nice!!

Great capture to begin with! These turns can make one go nuts at times trying to tract them. I really like your pp & use of filters as well.

Indranil, I like the original and the frac image, very tough to get one of these guys in full dive. Very tough. Nice capture and composition...TFS

Nice capture! I prefer the filtered version but both are cool!

This looks great, Indranil. Wonderful unique pose and I really like your treatment and composition on this. I've been trying to shoot some Forster's, and they aren't easy! Very nicely done!

Absolutely love the symmetry in this image and the filters are a perfect match. For added symmetry I might clone out the red foot but wouldn't in the non filtered version.

Thanks Hilary, good point on the red foot. I did not think about it.
