    Hi Everyone...
great place you have here... this time I took the time to actually read the instructions as to posting... huh... following directions has always been a problem with me for some reason... well. reading them anyway..... but fear not.. I take critique quite well.. since I know my work needs work... (and so do I for that matter.. lol)....
ok... there I was in this snow storm sitting over some corn hoping for a pheasant to stroll in... and here he came right at me.. I let him get close... but due to the terrain I was in.. there was a limited area I could get a clear capture.. and I had to sit a bit closer to it than Id like... I could barely fit him in the photo....I was using AI servo, centerpoint... so I cropped it square.. there was nothing on either side.. and I decided to just come on on the bird.. mabye too close?

Holy crap Kenn! Couldn't you get any detail or color? I usually like the effect of falling snow in wildlife or bird images, but I think it distracts from the amazing detail and color you have captured here. I'll leave any other commentary to the professionals. I think the image is excellent!

Very nice colors, exposure and angle. It is a bit tight in the frame for my taste and I would consider a crop that is not square. The snow flakes are distracting and sharpening the OOF tail caused some strong noise. The image is a bit larger than suggested (750 pixels on the longest side). Keep them coming. :)

Wow. I'll be the unorthodox one and say that if it were mine, I'd clone out the tail and do a more portrait style crop to eliminate the snow in front of the breast (looks like white dust spots even though we know that is not the case) and really highlight the colors on the head.

If you want to keep the whole thing, I would add some back to the left rather than leave it square.
