Bill, super comp with both razor bills on either side of the frame. Good interaction between the two, and I do like the exposure and sharpness. You pretty much nailed this one nicely.

Hi Bill....I agree you nailed this one ....great exposure of whites and darks. You might consider darkening the bottom of the rock to add some weight

Bill, such a nice shot. excellent title. Very low percentage shot pulled oof perfectly. The peak wings-open position with the perfect HA on the other bird. Good call on f-stop. Sweet BG, spot-on exp. and nice texture on the rock. Very well done.

Very nice picture. I like the action in the image and the nice blue BG. Blacks and whites look good. I would take off a bit from the rock. Love the underwing feather detail,

Great title, lots of RB action in this capture, and exposure is excellent. I agree with Gail that cropping a little off the rock at the bottom could help the comp which is otherwise superb. Congrats, Bill!

For those who have never to Machias Seal Island. He did just to get what he did. I have been there many times. He gets extra points just to get this. Two Razorbills in one frame with no dirt on the whites and bare minimum poop on the rocks. Clean, no harsh light, good details in both blacks and whites. Nice eye contact and you see the eyes are noticeable! All of this is not easy to do from the shoe box blinds. A well done from me.

Thanks Arash. Actually, I did take a slivver out of the middle in PP to move the birds a little closer together. Maybe I could have moved them more, but was afraid it might look unnatural. But I agree with you, it would have been a better image with them closer.

Thank you Grady. I'll have to admit, given a one-hour time slot in a shoebox at high noon on a sunny day (with three family members joining me inside) was somewhat of a challenge. I'd love to go back and try again under better conditions, but I was pleased with a few of my captures. Glad you liked this one.
