    Default Palm Tree Abstract

This image is of a Palm Tree bark that I took at Merritt Island last year. I ran it through Polar Coordinates and then cropped all but the ¼ image shown. The rest is the enhancements noted below.

Modifications in CS4 included the following; Polar Coordinates,Selective Color, Hue/Saturation, Shadow/Highlights, Brightness/Contrast,Vibrance, Cutout and Posterize.

    Enjoy!

    Hey Mark,
I like the flow of this and the colors are nice and bold....which I like! I also feel the subtle little details and tones add to the overall image.

The colors in this image certainly meet the theme of vibrance!! Red and black are a dynamite combination. I like the composition!

Mark, This certainly fits the theme! Neat abstract look to this one! I'm usually not fond of the rays of color from the polar coordinate filter but I like how it only shows in one corner-clever!

Very nice, Mark. I like the flow of the lines. The red and black really stands out here. Nicely done.
