    A recent photo from the NS coast. In mid-afternoon light against a plain sky. I hope the blacks aren't too black. Bird appears to be in active molt.

    D7000, 300 f/4 AF-S with 1.7TC, hand-held, 1/1250, f/6.7, ISO320, pattern metering.

    Hi Richard,
    You and I seem to post our picture at the same times!
    I see some noise in the near underwing. Head looks good.Nicely positioned in frame with wings up.

    Richard, good flying posture with the raised wings. I agree with Gail that there is a hint of noise on the near wing. Did you do some recovery work, as at ISO 320, you surely could not have created noise.

    Richard...nice wing position! You might spot the small blip on the upper wing! Blacks look OK to me
