Hi Joe, a familiar scene to me since my daughter lives in an apartment directly to the left of the flat iron. Nice angle with the colorful foliage base instead of cars and people. Beautiful light, well framed along with an appealing HDR treatment. I might just tone down or fill in the hot area in the cloud on the left. Nicely handled!!

Excellent processing of a fine composition. I'm also impressed with the lack of city clutter at the base, especially if that clock has the correct time . Thanks also for the tip on the latest photomatix upgrade.

Way cool Joe! I do see a bit of a halo on the rh side of the flatiron bldg. but a brush with the sky color at low opacity should do the trick and put the finishing touches an an excllent HDR!

Joe, I love the composition. Cool building! I think you did a great job processing this. I see a small halo on the right side of the flatiron which should be no biggy to evict. I might reduce the grain in the BG unless that was your intention.I love the new upgrade, it's very user friendly.

Nice job! Beautiful colors and details. How did you eliminate cars?

Nice work, Joe! The colors are beautiful. I like the diagonals that the planters create in the bottom. With a few of the minor tweaks mentioned, you will complete an already great HDR image IMHO.

It was early in the day and I just waited until there were no cars in the shot.

Patience is a virtue in photography as in life.
