In the Mara you often get these late afternoon storms that create these wonderful filtered light shows running across the plains.

    D700 70-200 f/2.8 VRII + CP filter 1/800s f/5.6 ISO800@120mm. Masai Mara Oct 2010.

    C & C most welcome

    Cheers
    Marc

    hi Marc

I love the colours and IQ of the scene , I just wish one of the wildebeest had lifted his head .composition a little tight on sides for me...

Marc - nice color and light, depicts the vast plains nicely. I agree with Peter, might have gone a little wider if possible.

Love the dappled light and the clarity here Marc...with Peter - super colours and IQ and story, just needed that one head looking up to take it to another level

Love the colors and the mood that the picture evokes. Can you go a bit wider?

Nice scene Marc. Sky has some nice detail and color and makes a nice contrast with the grasses. Looks like the gnu just above and left of the LRC didn't get the memo about which way to face.
