    Default Killdeer nesting

    It took me about 70 min to approach this nest in 10 mins intervals to move closer...during that time the bird never moved..I finally saw the highlights in the eye..I did no cropping or sharpening

    Your patience paid but I would suggest to sharpen the bird a bit. It looks rather soft as presented.
