This is an image I took a few years back, before I understood how important getting low was. I feel a lower angle would have made a significant improvement, however I still do like this one due to the reflection. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks for viewing.

Hey Craig, I agree with your self assessment...getting lower would have been better. The reflection is OK, but not very strong...and I wish the bottom part of it wasn't clipped (and I wouldn't mind a bit more room above too). Good job with the exposure, and very sharp as posted. I like the tiny feet showing as "X's" at the bottom of the water

    Craig:

    +1 on Daniel's comments.

This would have been a good shooting angle for a strong reflection if the water was still enough. As you go lower and lower the reflection becomes less mirror like, but certainly can still be interesting.

    Cheers

Nicely exposed and sharp! Great self critique too.
Although not uncommon on beaches here, I have a hard time getting good images of these guys as they are too busy running around and seem to have an innate talent for giving me bad HAs :)
Nice of him to give you a great pose here.

Thanks for the feeback everyone -- always most appreciated.

Time to get down and dirty in order to get some new low angle shots.
