    I also think is the best.
    I won't get another photo in the nest, I don't think, the next one hopefully will be a BIF of them. The BG is the far side forest, noise reduction used. Depending on shooting angle, I get forest or water. Forest looks better, but sometimes they don't sit up enough when I am at this level on the bank.

    Dan:

    This has been a fun series. Like the lower right chick, just popping up a bit, eye level view of nest, pleasant background.

    If it were mine, I would try a version with about 1/4 of the free space above the adults head cropped away.

    This is a great series you have going, Dan. Beautiful behavior/habitat image and comp! It's great that you have this great vantage point to visit, and are able to document their development. Good crop suggestion from Randy. Nice work!

    Hey Dan,
    I think this would look excellent in a pano too! Light and BG look good on this end and very well done overall!
