    I was lucky enough to watch this bird fledge from its home in a hollow not far from my home in Werribee, VIC, Australia

    Love the fuzzy, juvie look of this one. The black BKGD is appropriate and the simple comp allows that wide-eyed stare to really grab you. Very nice.

    Love all the feather details, the sharpness and really like the big eyes pose that stare right at you.

    Beautiful image! Even the large limb he is setting on is perfect for the owl and helps to balance the composition. A great owl image like this is on my "Bucket List".

    Very nice eye contact, sharpness and comp. Love the perch and the details in this juvi. Great pp work as well.
