    Default Sand Blasted

Conditions last night were some of the worst in a while. Wind off the water at over 30 knots kept the young birds hidden in the grass. This Black Back seemed to be screaming from the stinging sand. I can tell you , it hurt.

great pose, nice clean background. Overall seems a pinch dark on my screen. I could see boosting the midtones

Neat pose, and nice vertical comp. Looks like we can see some of the flowing sand at bottom! Nice warm late evening light too (or early morning).

Crop fits the pose wonderfully. Great moment caught. Nice light and nice and sharp. I really like the way the sand flows around the feet.

Super pose captured, Joe. Looks like he's objecting to the weather, nice story telling.

Also like the lighting. Great portrait and like the open bill! Lovely exposure.

Very nice pose and light. The comp is just perfect too. Agree with brightening the mid-tones a bit.
    Great work!
