Default Blue Winged Yellow Warbler on Apple Bloom

This picture was taken at Bent of The River Southbury. Th apple bloom was attraction of the place where many different warblers, Indigo bunting and Rose Breasted Gross beak were seen. I am sure not the best one but sharing what I got.

    C&C welcome.

Hi Sachin, I really like the blossoms around this warbler, she's a beauty. Also, the open wings add to the image for me. HA and pose is nice. TFS, Ann

Nice unobstructed bird in a nice setting. The exposure looks good. I personally would like it better if it were not so tight. The eye looks sharp and I think you handled the light pretty well.

    Thanks Ann..

Carole thanks for the inputs. The surrounding is too busy and distracting on this one hence I cropped this heavily to ensure bird gets full attention.

I forgot to put note about PP in OP but I cloned one dead stick behind the wing.

Sachin, this is a wonderful image IMO. Excellent exposure with whites in check and the yellow color well controlled. I like the environment in this case and love the way the bird stands out due to its color. I would love to see you use a filter effect on this (like oil painting or watercolor) and post it in Out Of The Box.

Hi Sachin- Nice to see the Blue-winged Warbler, which is not a common species. Love the pose with outstretched wing, and the blossom environment. The crop really features the blossoms but the subject is strong so the two work together well. To improve the image I would definitely run another round of sharpening on the whole image. If the environment were not such an important part of the image and very out of focus, I would just run the sharpening on the bird subject.

Regarding image size, the BPN max for height is 800 pixels; this one is 1024.

No problem for this post Sachin. Just resample the image to maximum of 1024 pixels wide and max 800 pixels wide, and less than 200kb in size.
