What a great bird! I really like your background and the composition. The only thing I find a bit distracting is the strong blade of bright green grass in front of the bill. Very nice colors. It is an image that makes me smile.

Vivaldo, lots os things to like here...the raised foot out of water, the colors, the habitat, the low angle, light....awesome shot. terrific feather details.

face & bill look a tad soft. motion blur I reckon...as the back feathers look very sharp.

Great bird, beautiful light, and lovely colors in the BG!
Raised foot is a nice touch.
I like seeing the habitat but the OOF FG stuff is a bit distracting.

Could use some CW rotation to level the water surface.

What a funny looking bird. I love the iridescence of the black feathers and the raised foot. Very nice environmental shot. Love the blue and gold in the BG. I like this very much

Beautiful subject photographed very well. Nice composition and detail. My vote for getting rid of the bright grass blade.

Very neat looking bird. Good sense of habitat and I too like the walking pose. Agree with CW rotation, and I'd be tempted to crop from bottom to above the large OOF FG line...even with the cut virtual leg I feel it would look better and cleaner that way.

Here's a re-post, sharpened a bit more, the larger version is sharp. Croped off the bottom and added on top. Removed some distractions
