    The reflection off the water created some uneven colours on the bird but like the overall colours. Image a little busy but it can't be helped.

    Craig, the light has brought out the colours nicely here, and I like the hint of the water reflected on the swamphen. I can just hear his mind ticking over when he pulls his foot out, and its all full of mud - OH S...

    Craig, nice rich colors and excellent pose. Looks like a diffcult spot to shoot in. Such busy BG that is so close to the bird is always hard to work with. Looking at the reeds in the BG, I can understand why you chose to compose it this way and chose a higher shooting angle.

    Hi Craig, would agree with busy BG but colours are really superb. In like the reflection and raised foot.

    Great image Craig!Very difficult bird to photograph in its natural habitat.
