    Default The Squabble

On the last day of our Southern California workshop we were treated to a squabble between two Forster's Terns at fairly close range. Normally these disputes happen fairly high in the sky, so I was happy to get some additional pixels on the interaction.

Great capture, Doug. This is a winner all around. With that kind of action/behavior and the fact that its a vertical, I anticipate seeing it on a cover somewhere sometime!

    I echo Marinas sentiments.

Are the eyes visible on your larger file ?

You dont miss much do you. Excellent timing to capture this inflight action, both sharp, and love the whites. Fine image Doug.

Doug, what a shot. Terrific poses from both and their angles( w.r.t camera) are perfect. perfect whites as always. Eye contact between the two takes it a notch higher. It helps the viewer's eyes stay in the frame.

Fantastic action here , Dough . The position of the birds add so much to the compo , as does the contrast of the blue sky and white birds and the orange on the legs and their beaks !!!

The lower bird's left eye is visible in this JPEG. You can make out the upper bird's right eye in the RAW file.
