Beautiful picture. I love the comp and the light and the little catchlight in the eye. My only nit is that I wish the horn did not intersect the ear.
The splotches of yellow are very complimentary as well. Would love to have this shot,
    Gail

Outstanding creature and excellent capture. Beautiful light on the rhino and love the tiny eye and the massive look of the body, and the 2 horns! In a perfect world it would be nice if those spiny trees on the left were like the soft background scrub of the right.

The slight sideways position of the rhino good to give you a look at the two horns. His color and size set him off from the surroundings nicely.

Great specimen in great light...many will complain about the busy BG but these guys (at least those in Southern Africa) prefer dense bush so even getting it this nicely out in the open is a treat .

The horns over the ear doesn't really bother me...let's hope he makes it through the year!! :2

Hi Dumay, I like the stance, detail & colour on this, but would like to have moved a little to the left. Still retaining that watchful eye, it might have exclude the smaller trees in the BG?
