Sorry for not participating here lately. Have been extremely busy. I spend a week in Norway photographing arcitic wildlife with Jasper Doest and Marco de Pauw and right after I got back the fieldseason for my black tailed godwit project started. This is the first chance I have to show you something from norway. We were driving around one day when we say this fox sitting around. It was very concentrated for some reason and after a while we got the answer to why so.....It pounced a couple of times looking for food, leaving us overwhelmed with the experience and extremely cold (-26 oC). Hope you like it.....

Fantastic. So sharp, and love the spray of the snow. Perfect exposure and perfect light for this subject. Bad luck to have the reddish vertical patch of BKGR go thru the fox's head... All in all, I love it.

    later and love, artie

    Excellent, great exposure and WB.

I have the same question as Al Forns.....did he catch anything?

    Hi all,
Thanks for the positive comments! To answer Robert's and All's questions...no it didn't catch anything, it just pounced 5 times and left.......

    Cheers

I'm with Artie on this one,
get rid of the reddish spot over the head to blend in with rest of the BG..........and this one is perfect!

Krijn this is fabulous! The low angle, the action, the sharpness, BIG WINNER! I understyand the comment about the red spot, but it does not really bother me, it would be interesting though to see it without.

This is a stunning image. Agree about the red spot, otherwise it is perfection.
