Crepe myrtle blossoms and bee. I used Topaz Adjust and Hue/Sat to pump up the saturation, Pixel Bender, Topaz Clean and some masking of the bee and parts of the blossoms.

Beautiful composition, Judy. I love the bright color of the blossom and stands out well with the oof bg. It looks awesome with the pb effect... nicely done.

Beautiful colors. Pixel Bender provides nice effect on these flowers! The touch of yellow in the flowers and bee are marvelous.

This is exquisitely lovely. Not only is the bee a real plus, but she is carrying a basket of golden pollen that works perfectly with the other yellow colors and balances that wide yellow bloom. Did you pay this bee ? One tiny thought, there are 2 bits of hazy white above the bee that I would consider removing.

Thanks Indranil, Anita and Nancy! I'll try to tone down the white after I see if there are any other suggestions that need to be addressed.

Hi Judy, IMO just enough PB to give the flowers added detail yet retain a soft appearance. Colors are vibrant with a good diagonal lean. The bee is an added plus!!

Judy, this is wonderful work. When I opened the thread and looked at the image, I was enjoying the lovely colors, composition, and detail. Then my attention was drawn to the bee, which I had not seen on first glance. What a great way for an image to unfold. Very nicely done!
