    The AO is one of my favorite birds to photograph, or simply observe. A careful approach from the water allowed me to get near my MFD.

    500 f/4L + 1.4x
    1/320 f/13
    EV +1/3
    ISO 400
    580 EXII w/ Better Beamer at -3

    Processed in LR3.

    Excellent exposure on the OC, sharp, and I like the space in the comp. If this were mine, I would maybe tone down the BG a tad.

    Excellent exposure, details and comp.
    I love the oof grasses giving a hint of the environment, but agree about the one Arash mentioned.
    Great use of flash to get details in the blacks.
    Very well done.
