Give me a sign.....should I be shipped to the funny farm?????

I noticed a bright red sign behind the bird when taking these images and thought I'd try and use it in the BG. It was not big enough or close enough to be used for the entire BG but I thought this image worked quite well. Unique images are my main aim most of the time and shots like this satisfy me but I'm guessing that I'm going to get a lot of replies like "this hurts my brain" etc etc etc

Either way, all comments welcome...don't hold back Paul

nice pose and details, the BG looks a bit unnatural due to the saturated red but something different is sometimes nice.

Super pose from the cormy, and well exposed too. Im surprised at F/9, you didnt get the tip of the beak in the DOF range. With regards to the BG colours, as is, it doesnt work for me. Maybe if the colours were the other way ( horizontal ) with the red on top, and the blue below, it may work. Just a thought.

It certainly does give the image a different feel than most but for me the red is just too bright. I would also like to see more room top and right. Details look great, as does the exposure.

I do like the out-of-the-box thinking, and it is always great to experiment...keep it up!!

Excellent techs but BG kills it for me.
