    Skimmer ground pod with Wimberley
    About 50% of Full Frame

    Photographed earlier this month on the North Shore of Massachusetts.

    Can anyone identify the food item?
    I was surprised when the bird was able to swallow it whole!

    Hey mike don't you just love chick season? Don't know what the food is looks like some kind of worm.
    I really like your low angle and soft focus surrounding the little chick. The foot placement is nice too

    very sweet, great ground level. Would like to see more sharpening and definition. No bug ID here!

    Very cute, nice low angle and catch...if it were mine I would tone down overall highlights a bit to recover some detail in the whitest whites.

    Love everything about this one, Mike. Whites look good to me. It's how they look when they are on the beach in the sun. The prey is a huge plus.
