Out of water!

This one is from last week taken late in the afternoon... these Forster's Terns were coming out with a fish every time they dived. For processing, I used pb oil and then reduced the effects on the water followed by slightly desaturing the water and applying selective color adjustment. Hope you like it...

Awesome action captured Indranil, perfect timing too! I love the rings from the water drops on top of the water. I do wish we could see the eye a little clearer but with these birds it's tough. The splash looks so cool!

Thanks Denise. I guess nictitating membrane was closed as it emerged from the water. I got clear eyes in the subsequent frames.

Bob, Pixel Bender comes from Adobe Labs. Here is a link http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/pixelbenderplugin/. The oil Paint filter is part of the default filters that comes with the plug-in.
