Back from a 3 week trip to France. Wandering along a backroad I saw this scene
    and liked it's serenity.
I used PB and some Nik filters...

Hi Dave, welcome back! This is a beautiful composition... love the curved waterway. The pb effect on the foliage is wonderful. Nice colors and light. Hoping to see more from the trip!

Nice painterly look, the URC gets a little dark. Looks like a lovely place.

Looks like a lovely place for a picnic. The blue of the boat stands out nicely. The filter seems to have affected some parts of the image more than others.

Beautiful image, Dave. I love the peacefulness and painterly feel. Great composition with the river leading towards the BG cliffs. Over all the image looks a bit dark to me especially on the right side. Well done!

Hi Dave, I trust that you had a wonderful trip. Good to see you are back! I love the colors and effect, really enhance the tranquil look of the rural scene. Very nice! I like how the canal leads the eye into the scene.
