I have always thought that silhouettes are very dramatic and it makes spending time after sunset well worth the efforts.

Unusual placement of the bird in the frame. One would expect him to be higher, allowing for room to dive in to. But as presented it created some tension, so I rather like it. Love the pose. Don't love the halo around the bird! (Easy fix in PS)

Nice crisp silhouette, and I like the fanned tail feathers. I'd rather see the bird placed slightly higher in the frame. I don't see a halo on my laptop.

Joe, good wing position and fanned tail, and the BG colour rocks. Another vote for moving him higher, and no halo visible on this side either.

Really nice Joe. I agree with Grace about having him higher.

It's not a sharpening halo, extends wider than that and is very visible on my NEC calibrated monitor. I believe it comes from levels adjustments. (Or a shadow/highlight adjustment, not sure how Joe processed this) Probably not a big deal, I'm super picky, especially with images that I really like.

Loved the BG colors and the pose. Nice silhouette indeed. Agree with placement suggestions by others.
