    Default Flaming Susans

I had to use a heavy vignette on the original image because of all the flowers in the background and it still was not what I wanted so I used Fractalius on it and then duped the layer and used Flaming Pear Twirl and blended the 2 layers. Flaming black-eyed Susans!

Judy, I think you discovered one of those cool things about Fractalius - you can use it to make a background drop out completely! The frac filter worked well on this one and really gives the flowers a look of flame. Good show!

Judy, Great combination of filters and I love the title! I might crop some off the bottom if it were mine. Very creative!

This really captures and very much highlights the brilliance of light shining through the yellow petals in such a creative way. I love it!

Thanks Paul! I agree but in the past I got a lot of "too tight" critiques so I took no chances this time. I think I will crop a bit.

Thanks Kerry! Yes that is one of the reasons why I tried it and it worked!

Thanks Nancy! I liked the texture that FP added inside the petals.
