Here is another image from Costa Rica taken moments after the male I posted yesterday. I don't care for the perch too much but this is where she landed. All C&Cs are welcome and appreciated.

I actually really like the perch if the angle or dof was different. The greens are so beautiful and vibrant and the detail is amazing. I really like the bg too.

Greenest bird I have ever seen!
Nice pose and BG, and excellent detail but looks just a tad oversharpened for my taste.

Beautiful bird, Jim, awesome color, excellent detail, sharpness. Love the eye, low angle, and BG works great! Well done!

Wow, that is green! :) I agree that it might be a tad too sharp, but that's just me. If mine, I think I'd crop a bit from the bottom as the large area of OOF brown perch is a little distracting. Cheers!

Wow, I thought the male was striking. The female isn't too shabby either!
Fantastic color and that red eye stand out nicely.
Lovely bg as well. Very nice of the couple to pose for you on the same perch.

This species have such striking colours, and I like greens on this one too. Good wing detail Jim.
