This is an attempt to really saturate without overdoing it. Basically, saturation brush, burn and dodge, the overall saturation and contrast adjustments. I did three versions. One was with the over contrast and over sharpen for a very grainy version, but this is my favorite of the three. See landascape for the more sedate version.

Steve, This came out really good. The lower right area looks like flames mixed with smoke. I like every section of the sky. The small slice of silhouette adds nicely to the image. Beautiful work!

    Hey Steve,
I like the colors a lot in this one! I would want a bit more base....not much.....just some silhouette base on the LH side and where there was none. Easy tweak to take this up a notch.

Wow. I think you did a great job of saturating without it being too much. Beautiful sky. I, too, would like a touch more base.

Awesome looking sky and treatment, Steve. Great rich colors, and real nice light glow, must have been amazing to see it in person. Agree with just a tad more FG added to bottom. Nicely done!

Great variety and detail of color and texture in this sky. Love the colors and play of light, as well as the implied motion of the clouds. Good one Steve!
