I was out walking Barney - this was taken quite late on about 8.12pm. At first the lark flew off but I re-approached slowly and got to about 10m distance.
Minor adjustment in Adobe RAW and a crop, selective sharpen using a layer mask.
All C & C welcome.
Lovely bg, sharpness and details. Food is a big bonus.
I read Roger Clark's thread on phase angle with great interest and this seems to be a good example where not being exactly down sun angle has helped with the details.
Nits - slight head turn, better/natural perch and some more DOF if possible would have been great.
But do like the image as presented.
Thanks for the C&C I did in fact consider extending the base but all it is, is a fence post so I reckoned I would have been hammered if I had put much more in!!
