    Default Mule Deer Fawn

Early one morning last week I looked out the kitchen window with a welcome cup of coffee and saw the Mule Deer does had their fawns with them. I grabbed my camera and keys and dashed to the car. I found them up the slope and captured this fawn running to mom. After all the excitement I thought I would wander around and see what else was about. Only as I stepped out of the car did I notice I was still in my robe and slippers . Good my neighbors are few and far between!

Nancy - too funny about the robe and slippers. Nice action captured with the front legs in the air and the open mouth is a bonus.

Very nice action capture and comp, Nancy. Cute fawn, and love the pose and open mouth. Like the habitat and good contrast to the subject. Well done!

Funny story Nancy! I just love the pose and the sense of youthful excitement here, great light too!
Wouldn't change a thing here...really enjoyed this one.

You must have a stunning view from your backyard
