Default Great Blue Heron Juveniles at nest

I don't get out to too much bird photography, but here is one from a couple of weeks ago. Not too far from my family cottage near Parry Sound, Ontario I discovered 3 Great Blue Heron nests. Went out one morning to see what I could get. A minor crop and much clean-up of distracting background elements.

    Nikon D200
Nikon 80-400 VR lens (VR off)
    ISO 200
    f11 @ 1/250
mirror lock-up ( I knew I was going to have to crop this one down a little)

    Look forward to comments.

Nice scene you came upon to. I like the trio of subjects, and the nest has a particularly nice and "clean" look to it. I could do without the lower long branch (I realize cloning out such an element is off limits to some, but something to consider if you don't mind that type of manipulation), and find the image is quite bright "cyan"...you could try tweaking the colours to tame that.

Andrew, I like the composition a lot. You've placed the subjects very well. Seems like the big crop has taken some toll on the IQ.
