I managed to get out in front of an approaching storm to get a few shots of skiffs and dingies anchored in the local bays and marshes. I'm especially happy with this shot of a small digny anchored with angry skies in the background. It's an image I've had in my mind for sometime. Canon 40D, Tokina 20-35mm 1: 2.8 lens, tripod: ISO 200, f/5.6, 1/25.

Bob - Nice b&w conversion. Glad you were able to realize your vision. I think this would also work well with some cropped off the bottom (to about your name). IMO that would place more emphasis on the clouds rather than the line of bright sky.

    Well done.

    Rachel

    Hey Bob,
I really like the clouds! Great depth there. I like the OP comp but like Rachel....feel the crop would make it even stronger! Just seems to anchor the FG better for some reason. All in all.....nice job realizing the vision.

Great looking clouds, Bob, and B&W conversion really works well. Boat is well placed in frame, agree with cropping some off bottom. Well done!

Take some off the bottom and you have a winner. Nice work!
