Shot this one at Gillette Castle in Connecticut. Roman K. and Susan Candelario ran a very cool workshop there yesterday. We had special permission to move the barriers which allowed us to see a lot of things without obstruction and a little closer. I am sure all the attendies got some great images! This is a 4 image HDR of the office taken with my tripod mounted 5DMK2, 17mm, bubble level, ISO, 200, f/11, at 1 s., 4s, 8s, and 1/5s. processed in Photomatix, a very slight crop off the left.

HDR works beautifully here to bring out the glow of all that gorgeous wood.

Great capture & pp, Nick! Like everything about this one, specially the green foliage from the outside being reflected on the desk. Had a blast shooting with you as usual.

Hi Nick, I'm very late on this one but your use of HDR is well handled. Good comp with all areas well defined. The detail all throughout the scene keeps the eye searching the image. Quite a remarkable place!
