It has been good year for the Sand eels, therefore a good year for the Puffins.

Tack sharp as usual Steve. Love the bill full of sand eels and detail in the head. When did you get to the Farnes? I was able to get there for one day on June 22nd but we only managed to land in the afternoon due to the weather.

Recently Jamie, as I have been trying to move my Little owl project on with other stuff. As it is only a 2hr drive for me when I am up North I can easily gain access and call the night before to get on the boat.

Hope you enjoyed your time there.

Very nice! Amazing how they can catch so many fish at once - I wonder how they do that...:2

Beautiful portrait. Love the details and the smooth background. I read that they can catch and carry up to eight fish at once.
That's why I will have to go to the East Coast and see them.

Excellent IQ Steve, and the detail and colours are simply amazing. Enough space all round, and everything works so well. Congrats on a fine image.
