    This young one was eager to pose for me, funny what can happen when you point a long lens at something or someone.

    Canon 5D 600mm f4 L (non IS) iso 400 1/500th f7.1 CW metering +1/3 tripod mounted
    Photoshop- slight gaussian blur of BG and sharpen of face

    Paul,
    this is a razor sharp close up of the gull. Eye is very sharp and hase a nice catchlight in it what makes it just a bite more interesting to look at it.

    Wow this is wonderful portrait!! Plenty of details... sharpness, exposure and pose is fantastic.

    Nice detail and I like the wing behind the head. Like the soft light as well.
