This bluebird box was posted on a barbed wire fence, something that is very common around here. I wedged an old aspen branch in the barbed wire and the bluebirds used it occassionally. I used my car as a blind.

Your bluebird is a welcome sight. The grub is a plus. I'm wondering about the square crop, and I wonder whether there's anything you could do about the feeling that the bird is tipped to the side. I know that the stick may have been in that position in nature, but maybe a little CCW rotation would be worth a try.

Hi Nancy, love the blues on these guys, and thats a nice catch he's got himself. Your comp does work as is, but Im sure a vertical would work even better.
