This bluebird box was posted on a barbed wire fence, something that is very common around here. I wedged an old aspen branch in the barbed wire and the bluebirds used it occassionally. I used my car as a blind.

Agree with Tom, nice work Nancy, would only suggest a less square crop (probably a 3:2 horizontal format)

Your bluebird is a welcome sight. The grub is a plus. I'm wondering about the square crop, and I wonder whether there's anything you could do about the feeling that the bird is tipped to the side. I know that the stick may have been in that position in nature, but maybe a little CCW rotation would be worth a try.

Great picture nice pose, the food item is a big plus.
I'm not sure about the choice on the frame (crop).

Lovely shot of a lovely bird, I too see the colour cast on the feet. Wonder what the circles are in the bg.

I can easily change the crop and the rotation. Thank you all for the suggestions. Art, I did not notice those BG circles until you mentioned it. I wonder also what they are. Thank you everyone for looking and commenting.

Hi Nancy, love the blues on these guys, and thats a nice catch he's got himself. Your comp does work as is, but Im sure a vertical would work even better.
