Jay, very nice feel. the slow SS effect is perfect. I like that the falls is angled. The big branch on top helps the balance.

    Hey Jay,
As Kaustubh said......the log balances the cascade very nicely! I would tone down the area around 11'oclock above the horizontal log......but that it! Very nicely done!

Based upon comments I received on NatureScapes, I took a different approach to this image. Went back to LR and using Auto WB the temp increased from 4550 to 4750 and the tint went from +15 to +23. A little bit makes a difference.

Next, over to CS5 to do a cleanup and boost brightness and contrast just a bit.

Finally, I had created actions that reduced the size and each reduction was interpolated with Bicubic sharper. Did some research and read the Cambridge Color article - http://www.cambridgeincolour.com/tut...ze-for-web.htm - and created new actions using Bicubic Standard.

As indicated in the article, using Bicubic Sharper on each downsize resulted in an overly sharpened image.

After the downsizing with Bicubic Standard I applied Pixel Genius Output using the 1024-pixel SuperFine Edge.

What do you think of the repost?
    Cheers, Jay

I think the improvment is subtle. I would still get that whitish blob at the top I mentioned. If I get a moment......I'll pull it into CS5 and see what version I can get. Maybe an old school Velvia look as I know you like bold!

Are you referring to the white log above the horizontal log?
