Still a great shot... what a color pattern!!!
Splendid action capture.Loved the wingspan and details.
Fantastic shot...looks like light was harsh but you did great job...
Dudley, beautiful bird, great pose frozen(loved that wing and tail spread) and excellent shooting angle. Exposure also looks fine.
I can see some evidence of the canvas extension....this is a hard one to extend. If you clean up that evidence by some cloning, it would look nice. If mine, I'd crop from a bit from the right.
I am thinking the camera did not track fast enough as the grasses behind the bird seem a bit sharper. Still, an awesome shot. Well done.
Good landing pose Dudley, especially seeing the full wingspread. In a perfect world, to have captured this a frame earlier, that he is against the distant mountain BG would have been even better. I agree with KD that the evidence of extending the canvas is visible.
Lovely landing image captured! Like the detail and action. Ditto on the evidence of expansion that is visible.
Like the wing pose too. Well done!![]()

nice intense landing pose it is a bit soft however

Great wing and tail spread and the bird is well positioned in the frame.
Thank you all for viewing and commenting. Your input is appreciated. Canvas expansionhas been adjusted as per attached![]()
Great sharp detail. Like the incoming pose. Subject is well exposed with good natural colours against a killer bg. Well done !
