Okay, kinda hokey title, but I spent my 4th of July shooting with Doug Brown and Jim Neiger and this little stilt just reminded me of independence. Bolsa Chica is a great place almost any time, but summer is wonderful for terns, skimmers, willets, and stilts.

It's been a while since I did a simple painting, so here goes. Topaz filters all the way, DeNoise, Detail, Clean, and Adjust.

    Hokey is good

Lovely presentation of the stilt, Kerry. Simple and serene.

I usually see these guys just as they decide to fly away from me!

Wonderful image and the pano works very well on this image. I might have flipped it horizontaly as it seems un-natural to me to look from right to left. Just my 2 cents.

I agree with Joe that the pano crop works really well, but the right to left doesn't bother me at all. I think the background has the perfect amount of softness, and the colors blend very nicely together.

Kerry, I love the filtering as well - it has a three dimensional feel to it
