What a beautiful image!!!! Love it!
What do you think about this repost - only some cooling filter applied to the BG and slight S/H on all the image.

That is beautiful Mike. The repost also looks good but only you can comment which version is the nearest representation of the scene that you recorded.

Aw man that is cute!!!! The parent bird looks like it's been working hard to bring up the little one.

I must say the repost in an improvement(IMO) on the already beautiful photograph.

My vote for the original. I love the feel the soft light gives it.

Wow, beautiful scene captured! I like the colours in the repost as well. Superb angle, which makes the image even better.

IQ is perfect. Very well done!

Excellent capture Mike...I liked the Re post as it helps separate the chick from BG which otherwise is a big challenge..

Thanks to all for the feedback!

Ofer, I like your idea of selectively punching up the blue in the sky portion of the BG but I might go for something more subtle to better match the soft light on the birds and also stay closer to reality. The touch of S/H also works well. Thanks for suggesting the improvements!

A tender moment well captured Mike. The low perspective works well, as does Ofer's repost. I would maybe take a bit off the top.

Mike, what a shot. Low angle, excellent head positions, light, exp., details. Incredible stuff. Parent's sitting pose has helped a lot in creating a balanced comp. I like the space you've kept around. That is deceptively difficult in such compositions.

Thoroughly enjoying your images.....thx for sharing.

Ditto Kaustubh, your work is a pleasure to view.

I really love this image. Low angle and interaction are great. Definitely contest material.

Well done, and I am looking forward to more!

I have nothing more to add here Mike, except to say that this is a wonderful moment you captured. I like the contrast between the adult's rugged worn plumage and the chick's new soft down. I love it (and do like what Ofer did).
