Joel, I like the fract work and the bg colors are wonderful. I love the pose also. I'm thinking a little more room at the bottom would be a good idea and a little off the right side. And reveal the eye a little more.

Joe, This is fantastic! Cheryl makes some good points. I like the way the fract made the wings look like they are glowing.![]()
Joe, love the fract look to this. Agree on a little more room at the bottom and masking the eye back in.
Lovely pose, nice bg and beautiful with the fract. Agree with the suggestions for more space for him to look into and masking the eye back in.
Joe, great fracting on this one - looks super! Like the background a lot too. Comp-wise I would like to see the bird farther up and to the right in the frame. Just seems a bit cramped in that corner.

Thanks all for your kind words. I will try a version with the eye brushed back in. I cropped it this way as I felt it created an air of mystery not knowing what the Tern was looking down at. I guess thats the great thing about this thing called art. Everyone sees different things in the same image.![]()
I generally am not too fond of Fractilus, but it really works on this image!
Joe, I like the image and agree with different bird position in composition but unlike most, the only part I wish was more visable is the lower bill......but thats just me...love the colors and effect, this image really rocks with the fract effect...well done
love the fract effect on the wings esp......I vote for the eye as is and some cropping as suggested
