    Default Black-bellied plover

Taken at Flager Beach in early May. I was driving by and saw something moving on a mostly deserted beach. The light was harsh at about 3 pm.

The reflection of the sand probably helped with the harsh light. Nice plumage on this guy. Well done.

I wish I had one as nice and close, we also seldom see them up here in this plumage. when we do its from a long way off. Sharp, well composed, nice background...very nice

Exposure looks great given the intensity of the light and I agree, the shadow helps.

Love the clean beach and HA.

Maybe a bit of CW rotation?

The details are there, despite the strong light. Good, simple shot.

Exposure well handled under the conditions. Lovely clean surroundings. Great detail too!

Alan, excellent angle, exposure and sharpness. what a nice bird. Very well done.

I feel its a little tight at top and bottom. I see sharpening halo....more prominent near the black belly. NR on the BG will make it even better.
