    From my trip to Ululapa Lodge earlier this year. I removed some distracting grasses in the foreground.

    hope you dont mind did small work on face just to give a little more punch, removed grass from LHS corner and removed white spots around nose...

    Lovely lighting technique Chris...to me the lion has a slight green cast (very slight) so I would suggest a bit of warming up? I like Peter's repost.

    Lovely light in here! Image doesn't have a strong impact IMHO - I think it is the fact he is looking away. I also feel it needs to be closer to Peter's repost without the green cast.

    I definitely prefer the OP; the RP is too harsh in its detail.

    Chris - I like the softer feeling OP but also see a slight green cast. Agree with getting rid of the grass in LLC. Nicely captured.

    Thanks for the valuable comments everyone. It seems opinions are fairly split on the grass, I guess that is what art is all about - in the eyes of the beholder. I agree on the green cast, I think I made the mistake to process this in a artificially lit room.
