This is one of my favorite images from a recent trip to the Lancaster County Pa. Amish countryside. It started as a 6 image HDR in Nik HDR Efex then went to photoshop to grow some grass on a parking area and to evict a telephone pole. The color version was nice, but I wanted to also see it in a B&W version. Off to Nik Silver Efex and some tweaks to the Grannys Attic preset and we have this image. I'll bet Christopher could suggest a great texture for this one also.

Dave, I like the image a lot! The HDR worked well with the image.

Dave, I love the scene with the branch framing the image on the side. Nice aging and soft vignette.

Very lovely scene, Dave. I like the aging and vignette; and, yes, I do think it would also look good with a few textures added. Very well done!

Really lovely, Dave. I also like the way the branches frame the image and particularly the soft vignette. If it were mine, I wouldn't change it.

This is really nice Dave, I like the conversion a lot and your composition is very artistic. The image has a timeless quality to it. Excellent technical as well as artistic work.

Thank you so much to everyone for the encouraging words. I took my time and shot this from several angles, but this one just seemed to fit the feel I was after. One of the happy moments in my old age Thanks again, it's very much appreciated.
