O, love the pose of the leg and IQ. Exposure of the whites are perfect! I quite like the two coloured background, but that's just me.

    Overall, a super image!

Dumay the strip at the bottom doesn't work for me, would clone it out. Excellent H/A and raised foot and good whites

One sweet image. BG is outstanding and the spot on exposure is killer.

Yeah guys, I wish there were more blue or none for this forum, but for me personally it doesn't bug me. I suppose different taste. Where I get to do 95% of my Avian photography often offers these layered BG's. But as always I appreciate all feedback ( good to know that in my mind I thought that the blue may be brought up by some people, so I can see I am learning from you all)

I like the blue strip. It blends beautifully with the browns and somewhat anchors the perch & bird, especially since the bird is looking downward.

Super whites on the egret, and love the 'hunched' pose with the raised foot. Sharpness looks good too. Gotta get back there soon mate. Getting tired of WFD's.

Dumay, count me amongst those who like the BG as is. Love this image a lot. raised foot, open bill, excellent whites, IQ, clean BG, comp....very well done on all fronts.

Raised foot not merging with anything is terrific.
