Lovely dorsal flight view of the species with perfect exposure.
Front of head looks just a little soft to me, looks like you may have included the beak and forehead in a blurring filter??? (please excuse me if I am wrong)
Paul

Paul, I have not included a blur filter the forehead of the juvi is covered with soft fur and perhaps that is what you are seeing (it can be seen better in larger size)
Thanks for input

My apologies Arash, I know that some feathers have this quality and are very hard to capture sharply![]()

Incredible wing detail and exp. Head does look strange but you explanation makes sense, also the fact that the far wing looks like its behind the head and the near wing in front of the plain of the head so that should mean the head would be sharp. Love the larger version. Also like the fact that the BG is not all blue with the OOF hills in the BG.
nice flight shot, nice detail in feathers,I agree about it being a bit soft front of head.thanks.
I really love that background as well. Lovely feather detail and head looks fine to me. Great pose as well!
Superbly done!![]()
Excellent banking pose and a great BG. Head turning towards you is great, like the detail on the bigger version![]()
In addressing the head concerns, I think the gleam in the eye is critical and balances the tiny bit of softness. Beautiful image!

Thanks guys I tried to clone out the fur in the forehead/beak area let me know if this looks better?

Well, you just keep turning them out, one after the other.Cool banking pose, and the larger version looks great. In the larger version I see a hint of colour noise on the head, but Ive had a long day, so maybe its just me, as no one else has mentioned it. Cheers.

Hi Stu, I can tell you there is no visible noise but I suspect it might be the same fur...

You are just too spoiled having all of these raptors close by :)
Love it.
Arash, loved the light and pose...angle as well. And that strip at the bottom makes a big difference.
Do you think it can use a mild round of USM?
