    Default Oystercatcher Chick

From a recent trip to Nickerson Beach - this baby oystercatcher was kicking up some sand while chasing after mom for food. Lots of fun to track these little guys

    Charles:
Very cute, 'my what big feet he has'

Sharp, well exposed, excellent angle in frame and comp(maybe the tiniest sliver more below)

I like the sand on bill, lets you know he has been rooting around.

    Cheers

I love it! Beautiful image all around. The foot up adds lots of interest, as does the flying sand. Very nicely done.

Love the detail and angle used. Ditto on the sand and foot pose adding to the image. Exposure is spot on and the chick really stands out.

    Fantastic capture!

Lovely shooting angle, great IQ and very nice exp control. DOF looks good, but not sure if the foot blur is DOF or SS ( I would personally like to see the right foot sharper) Very nice image!

Good low perspective Charles, and of course the raised foot puts this up a notch. Overall good detail, and the complimentary BG works well.

    Excellent shot!

Love the low angle and details on this one...the flying sand particles add to show the action in image.

Beautiful image, Charles. I like the raised foot, slight head turn, eye contact and the low perspective.

Great sharp detail and IQ. Like the low angle ands soft colours. Subject is well exposed with good natural colours against a killer bg. Well done !
