    Default Bird Information Website

This is snoething I stumbled across when getting ready to do some work at the Kennedy Space Center . Some of you may already know about it, but I thought it was pretty good.

You can log in your own bird information regarding sitings and use the explore tab to get species specific hotspot information

Thank you George. eBird has been a revolution in birding by allowing birders to upload their field notes that would otherwise have never seen the light of day. The knowledge thus accumulated is now recognised as extremely valuable and is being used widely.

I like ebird too. Lots of people use it to search for recent "rarities" or unusual wanderers. A nice resource.

P.S. I'm copying the thread to the "Useful Links" forum.

Just checked it out. It has all the recent Snowy Owl reports some what close to me. It also had detailed locations of where they were hiding recently at the locations. Great tool.
