Another lesson in low angles from you, Kaus. Your addition of canvas is seamless. Could more color be coaxed out of the pinkish tan neck? Is the image not a bit noisy?

Craig, I dont see much noise...some jpg compression artifacts, yes. What is the size and resolution of your monitor? Noise can be more apparent if monitor is low resolution.

Perfect pose for this head-on angle and beautiful setting and BG!

Might be an illusion but I keep thinking it needs some CW rotation.
Would like to see a bit more breathing room at the bottom for the virtual feet of this long-legged guy.

what size? that would be good resolution on a small laptop but low on a big monitor. My work monitor is 24 in and has a 1920X1080...not good by current standards. But I am not seeing any noise even on that. My Sony laptop at home is a 16.9in and has a resolution of 1600X900...quite decent actually. I am planning to buy a good high res monitor some time soon.

Love your low angle (Your signature), nice exposure and colors. The first time I looked at this, it felt a bit snug on the right side (as viewed) and on the bottom. Second time, I think just on the bottom.

Thx, Grace and Mike. I think I have more room at the bottom. I did not include it because I did not have enough room at the top to strike a balance. I will go back to the orig file, include more room at bottom and then may be extend the canvas at the top some more.

In-camera vertical would have been ideal but the bird was walking parallel to me and then made a 180deg turn. I clicked when he was making the turn.

I like it, the pose and exp are perfect. Legs dont seem as sharp as the body, just wondering if you have any at maybe f8-9 as you had plenty SS. Great BG and awesome light, love your work!

Agree with Kaustubh. A bit more space at the bottom would add even more to a super image!

I love the angle and the detail on the bird! The background is beautiful as well.

    Superbly done!

Brilliant low angle image here !! Nice compo ...love it . The small waves / bubbles around the leg distract a wee bit .

Oh, right, of course. I've got a 17-inch monitor.

Craig, I'd say for 17 inch monitor, 1280 X 1024 is not very low(must be 95-something PPI). Then, I am a bit surprised that you see noise.

Super low angle and eye contact. The exposure is nailed and the soft colours is great !

I really like this one - beautiful bird, background, lighting, and low angle. Very nice on all points. Wouldn't change a thing.

    thanks
