Default Black Diamond Canyon- I-70- After sunset.

Returning from a weeks storm chasing based from Denver and into 5 states, up to Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Nebraska and South Dakota, I raced to get to this location before sunset. I made it with 5 minutes to spare and then shot after sunset while the clouds still had some life in them. This is the HDR-PB oil paint with some saturation brushwork.

This is very, very nice, Steve. Beautiful scene you captured, love the sky, colors & light glow. Great touch with the HDR and PB oil effect. Nicely composed and well done!

Steve, Awesome colors and processing. Does it need a rotation, it looks like the vegetation is on a slant. I wasn't there so can't say for sure. Love the glow on the rock!!

Steve, I missed this one over the holiday... Really is a nice painting of a southwest sunset. Love the colors, the light, and the scenery. Good one!
